Effect of rhizobium inoculation and nitrogen levels on performance of green gram [Vigna radiate L. Wilczek]

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2019 at Research Farm, Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda (Punjab) to check the effect of rhizobium inoculation in relation with nitrogen levels on performance green gram. The trial laid split plot design two viz., 0 and 350 g ha-1 main four kg ha -1, 6 ha-1, 12 18 sub plot. Rhizobium seed significantly increased plant growth parameters height, dry matter accumulation, number branches nodules/plant yield attributing characters pods/plants, seeds/pod test weight recorded highest (1435 kg/ha) which higher than control (1293 kg/ha). results 10.9% control.
